Niles Celebrates 125 Years!

In 2024, the Village of Niles is celebrating 125 years as an incorporated village.

The Village of Niles has always been a special place to live, work, and play. Niles was recognized as the All-America City in 1965, and in the 1980s was one of only four Illinois towns honored in the “Safe Places for the 80’s” book. In 2006, Niles was named “Best Place to Raise Kids” by Bloomberg Magazine, and “Top Town” by Chicago Parent magazine in 2021.

The official family-friendly 125th Celebration is on Saturday, August 17th from 4pm to 8:30pm in Golf Mill Park.
